Aji Brazilian Pumpkin

110 Days. A rare Capsicum baccatum from Brazil producing squat, ribbed pods around 4–6 cm across that resemble tiny pumpkins, ripening to a deep orange. Despite its unusual shape this variety is easy to grow and highly productive, often continuing to fruit well into autumn β€” making it one of the more reliable late-season performers in the baccatum family.

Sweet, tangy, and slightly tropical with a juicy crunch β€” excellent for fresh eating, stuffing, or making vibrant hot sauces. Plants reach 1.2–1.5 metres in pots or garden beds in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil.

Harvest: Pick when pods are fully deep orange for peak sweetness and flavour.
Flavour: Sweet, tangy, and slightly tropical with medium heat and a juicy crunch.
