A close relative of the Charapita Amarillo, this wild Capsicum chinense from the northern Peruvian jungle produces hundreds of tiny 10 mm round peach-coloured pods — slightly larger than its yellow cousin but equally rare and prized for its vibrant fruity citrus aroma and sharp, lingering heat. A cornerstone of traditional Peruvian jungle cuisine and an exceptional find for the serious grower.

Wild, bushy plants produce abundantly throughout the season in warm, sunny conditions with fertile, well-drained soil.
