95 Days. One of the hottest Capsicum baccatum varieties available, Aji Cito hails from Peru and stands out for its intense heat alongside a unique and distinctive flavour. The torpedo-shaped pods measure around 5 cm long and 1 cm wide, ripening from green to a bright yellow. Excellent used fresh in salsas and sauces, or dried and ground into a vibrant, citrusy chilli powder.

Tall, bushy plants reach up to 1 metre in pots and perform well in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture throughout the season.

Harvest: Pick when pods are fully bright yellow for peak flavour and heat.
Flavour: Bright bean and citrus notes with a sharp, lingering heat.
