100 Days. A Capsicum baccatum from the northern valleys of Peru, where it has long been a staple ingredient alongside fish and seafood dishes. Aji Norteño produces pods around 8 cm long with a distinctive sweet, fruity flavour — a bright green apple character with good capsicum depth and a gentle kick of heat that complements rather than dominates.

Productive plants reach 1.5 metres and perform well in pots or garden beds in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture throughout the season.

Harvest: Pick when pods are fully ripe for peak sweetness and flavour.
Flavour: Green apple with good capsicum depth and a gentle kick.
