Bhut Jolokia Chocolate, or Chocolate Ghost Pepper, this very hot chili is cultivated in Northeast India by crossing C. chinense with C. frutescens. The plant produces dark chocolate-colored pods that are slightly milder than the red variety. Growing up to 1.2 meters tall, with lush green foliage and small white flowers. The intense heat and unique flavor make it popular in spicy cuisine.
Flavour: taste buds burned off, with hits of smoky, fruity, and earthy notes.
