The name says it all — the long, tapered, pointy pods are a near-perfect imitation of a carrot in both shape and colour, with a satisfying crunch, fruity flavour, and a gentle spicy kick.

Compact plants reach 50 cm and perform well in pots or garden beds in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil.

Harvest: Pick when pods are fully bright orange for peak flavour and heat.
