85 Days. Chile Japones is a compact, high-yielding variety producing slender red pods around 5–7cm long. Well-suited to pots or garden beds, the plants thrive in full sun and well-drained soil. With a long growing season and moderate to high heat, these chillies are a favourite in Mexican and Asian cuisines.
