Cucumber - Telegraph

Cucumis sativus

Cucumber 'Telegraph' is a classic English heirloom introduced in 1897 and one of the most trusted and well-loved cucumber varieties available. It produces long, smooth, dark green fruit to 25–30 cm with thin, tender, edible skin, crisp white flesh, and almost no seeds. Mild, refreshing, and burpless, it is the definitive slicing cucumber — perfect for salads, sandwiches, and fresh eating with no peeling required. A variety that has stood the test of time for very good reason.

Vigorous and highly productive, Telegraph thrives in full sun in both outdoor gardens and greenhouse conditions. Best grown on a trellis for straight, clean fruit and good airflow through the vines. Pick regularly once fruit reaches a good length to keep plants continuously productive throughout the season.
