75 Days. A striking heirloom Capsicum annuum from the Czech Republic, prized as much for its ornamental beauty as its culinary versatility. Pods start green, ripen through a deep, matte purple-black, and finish as a dark smoky red — a dramatic colour progression that makes the plant a standout in any garden or container. Sweet and aromatic with little to no heat, the thick-walled pods are excellent fresh, pickled, or used in mild sauces.

Plants reach 60–80 cm and are covered in 5–7 cm pods throughout the season. Grow in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture.

Harvest: Pick at the purple-black stage for ornamental appeal, or allow to ripen fully red for peak sweetness.
Flavour: Sweet and aromatic with little to no heat.
