A striking ornamental and culinary Capsicum frutescens producing slender, upright pods around 6 cm long that ripen from dark violet through black to vivid red — with all three colours present on the plant simultaneously for a dramatic and eye-catching display. The stems and foliage are covered in a distinctive silvery fuzz, setting it apart from most other chilli varieties and adding further ornamental appeal in pots or garden beds.

Sharp, slightly smoky, and moderately hot, the pods are excellent for sauces, drying, and garnishing. Tall, bushy plants reach 90–150 cm and are highly productive in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil.

Harvest: Pick at the black stage for dramatic colour or allow to ripen fully red for peak heat and flavour.
Flavour: Sharp, smoky, and peppery with moderate heat.
