Grape (Table) – Kyoho

Vitis vinifera × labrusca

A luscious, exceptionally large, dark-purple grape with juicy, sweet flesh and a hint of tartness. Kyoho grapes are often likened to small plums for their size and richness, with thick, easy-to-peel skins that make them ideal for fresh eating.

Vigorous and productive, Kyoho grows best in full sun with free-draining soil. It requires a strong trellis, arbor, or fence for support. Prune in winter to encourage fruiting. Excellent for outdoor planting in warm, temperate climates. Protect young shoots from frost. Grapes fruit on second year wood. Protect young shoots from frost.

• Considerations: Provide sturdy support. Watch for aphids and powdery mildew. 

Sold in a 15cm pot (similar to one in photo). Suitable for outdoor growing in the ground or large containers with proper support.
