75 Days. Awesome Jalapeño is a larger, of El Jefe, producing thick-walled pods about 10cm long and 4cm wide. Known for its heavy corking (scar marks), a prized trait that signals bold flavour and good heat. Ideal for stuffing, grilling, or letting ripen red for chipotles.Grows well in pots or garden beds, reaching 60–80cm tall.

Flavour: Sweet, fruity, and earthy. Even better smoked and dried for chipotles or ground with salt for chipotle seasoning.
