Japanese Black Trifele

Indeterminate - Pear

75 Days. Mid-Season. Japanese Black Trifele is a Russian heirloom with mahogany-coloured, pear-shaped fruit and green-tinged shoulders. The fruit, about 80–100mm long, has smooth, glossy skin and a slightly pointed base, with meaty flesh and rich, luscious flavour.

The plant is a short, compact indeterminate type with distinctive potato leaves, growing 90–120 cm tall and producing abundantly throughout the season. An outstanding variety for slicing, roasting, and gourmet dishes.

Flavour: Rich, meaty, and deeply savoury.
