75 Days. Mid-Season. Japanese Black Trifele is a Russian heirloom with mahogany-coloured, pear-shaped fruit and green-tinged shoulders. The fruit, about 80–100mm long, has smooth, glossy skin and a slightly pointed base, with meaty flesh and rich, luscious flavour. The plant is a short, indeterminate type with potato leaves, growing 90–120cm tall and producing abundantly. This variety is ideal for slicing, roasting, and gourmet dishes.
