The name means “flame” in Hindi, and this variety lives up to it with its long, slender green pods that ripen to red. Plants are bushy and productive, reaching around 60–90cm tall, and thrive in hot climates. Often harvested green and used fresh or dried.

Flavour: Bold, spicy, and moderately hot with a clean, lingering burn.
