Lettuce 'Alkindus' is a striking butterhead variety producing generous, cabernet-coloured, slightly ruffled leaves that swirl into a beautiful, well-formed head with a vibrant green heart at the centre. Reaching 30 cm wide and 20 cm tall, it is a substantial and visually impressive lettuce with a completely bitter-free flavour and excellent eating quality.
