Lettuce 'Truchas' is one of the most strikingly beautiful romaine varieties available, producing compact, cylindrical plants with intense crimson leaves and brilliantly contrasting green ribs and veins. Growing to 30 cm wide and 18 cm tall with razor-smooth leaves, it is as visually dramatic in the garden bed as it is on the plate.
