Monstera dubia
Monstera dubia is a rare, shingling aroid prized for its dramatic transformation as it matures. Juvenile plants feature heart-shaped leaves with striking silver markings that lie flat against their support. As it climbs, the foliage morphs into fenestrated, mature Monstera leaves—making it a true collector’s gem for plant lovers.
Ideal for growing on a moss pole, plank, or textured wall, this plant rewards patience with stunning results. Great for small spaces and vertical plant displays.
PLANT CARE
• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun which can scorch juvenile leaves.
• Water: Allow top 2–3 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Keep slightly more moist while actively growing.
• Humidity: Prefers high humidity—ideal for bathrooms or grouped with other tropicals.
• Considerations: Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix, such as our specially designed blend for aroids.
