Rawit is one of the most widely used chillies across Indonesian and broader Southeast Asian cooking — the essential heat source in sambals, stir-fries, soups, and dipping sauces where its sharp, clean intensity adds fire without muddying the flavour of a dish.

Compact, bushy plants yield heavily throughout summer in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil. One of the most reliable and productive bird's eye types for the home garden.
