A striking Capsicum chinense hybrid crossed from Bhut Jolokia and Filius Blue, producing pods that start deep purple and ripen to red with dramatic blue-black shading during ripening — one of the most visually striking superhot varieties available. At 750,000 SHU the heat is ferocious and lingering, with a fruity, slightly floral character beneath the intensity.

Plants grow 80–100 cm and produce heavily in warm conditions with fertile, well-drained soil. Not for the faint-hearted — best suited for extreme hot sauces and drying. Handle with gloves at all times.

Harvest: Pick when pods are fully red for peak heat and flavour. Always use gloves.
Flavour: Fruity and slightly floral with intense, searing heat.
