This brown poblano pepper is a very popular Mexican chili pepper. Dark green in color when unripe which ripens to brown with dark red colouring. Heat is mild with a large heart-shaped pod. Great for stuffing, even better dried which is called Ancho brown.

Flavour: When dried has flavors of chocolate or licorice, with a hint of cherry and tobacco.
